3 forwards Chelsea should look to sign in January

Antonio Conte’s Chelsea are beginning to play like a team that could challenge for the Premier League title.

The Blues battered Manchester United 4-0 last weekend, this a week after their comprehensive 3-0 victory over champions Leicester at Stamford Bridge.

Despite losing to West Ham in the League Cup on Wednesday, Conte’s side have won their last three league games, and haven’t conceded a goal in any of them. This is a far cry away from the Chelsea side that lost 3-0 at Arsenal, and conceded two in the draw at Swansea earlier in the season.

Conte’s decision to switch to a back three has paid off thus far, and the last few weeks will have given Blues fans confidence that their team can not only get back into the top four, but also regain the title.

Nevertheless, there has been a lot of speculation around who Conte might look to bring in during the January transfer and, although reinforcing his defensive options seems to be the priority, he may also want to bring in another forward.
