3 Southampton players who could follow Victor Wanyama to Spurs in January

Tottenham are once again showing form which could see them challenge for the Premier League title this season.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men are the only side still unbeaten in the Premier League, having won five and drawn three of their opening eight games.

Their victory over leaders Manchester City prior to the international break was the most impressive of the season so far, and although they didn’t get the three points at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, Pochettino’s side remain just a point behind Pep Guardiola’s side.

One summer signing who has made his mark on this Tottenham side is Victor Wanyama, who joined from Southampton. He has slotted effortlessly into the centre of midfield at White Hart Lane, and his solidarity in that area has allowed the likes of Son Heung-min, Dele Alli, and Christian Eriksen to get forward and create opportunities.
