Manchester United made it through to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup on Sunday to kick-off a potentially season-defining week with a victory.

Jose Mourinho’s men go to Saint-Etienne in the Europa League on Wednesday before taking on Southampton in the League Cup final on Sunday, so to get past Blackburn Rovers 2-1 on Sunday was the ideal start to the week for the Red Devils.

They had to work for Sunday’s victory though, as Danny Graham did put Owen Coyle’s men ahead at Ewood Park, only for Marcus Rashford and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to net either side of half time to secure United’s spot in the last eight, where they will face Premier League leaders Chelsea.

However, a lot of games will take place between now and then, with Mourinho’s men pushing for a top four finish in the Premier League this term, given that they are currently sixth and just two points behind Arsenal in fourth.

Nonetheless, there are still some things that need improving at Old Trafford between now and the end of the season if they are to finish in the top four, and indeed get their hands on some silverware.
