Sky Sports’ latest incarnation, Friday Night Football, returns to our screens this evening as Ronald Koeman and his Everton side play hosts to Crystal Palace.

The blue half of Merseyside have made a flying start to the season under the former Southampton boss, however, they came unstuck on the South Coast last season, losing 1-0 to Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth side, thanks to another Junior Stanislas goal against the Toffees.

The visitors make the trip to Goodison Park off the back of three Premier League wins on the trot, with just an EFL Cup loss to an in-form Southampton blotting their recent form card.

Unlike some of the teams around them, neither side had a European distraction in the week, and therefore we can expect a hotly contested clash in the North West under the lights.
