One of the hottest rumours coming into January is the arrival of Memphis Depay at Everton.

The Dutch international never managed to get his Manchester United career up and running after his £25m move last summer.

Now, under Jose Mourinho, the winger has been frozen out of the side, playing a mere 24 minutes of league action this season.

There are some doubts as to whether Depay can cut it in the Premier League, he has failed at Old Trafford, so why would he be a success at Goodison?

However, working under a compatriot in Ronald Koeman could help the 22-year-old regain the form he showed at PSV Eindhoven.

United would be looking to make their money back when selling the winger, so he could come at a hefty price. But, with bags of potential, he may well be the number one replacement for Yannick Bolasie.
