Liverpool’s Premier League title hopes took a hit as Swansea City shocked The Reds to win 3-2 at Anfield on Saturday, lifting the visitors out of the relegation zone.

Midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson struck the winner on Merseyside with 16 minutes remaining to give manager Paul Clement his first win in charge of the Welsh outfit – just their fifth top-flight victory of the 2016-17 season.

Striker Fernando Llorente opened the scoring after 48 minutes, before doubling the away side’s lead shortly after to shell shock Jurgen Klopp’s hosts, who wasted the opportunity to close the gap on league leaders Chelsea early this afternoon.

Fellow forward Roberto Firmino also bagged a brace to draw Liverpool level after 70 minutes, but Sigurdsson had the last laugh at Anfield as Swansea climbed up to 17th place, two points above the drop zone.

After today’s shock result, here is five things Shoot! learned from Liverpool v Swansea…
