Arsenal and Chelsea are reportedly lining up a £42 million move for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has already stated that he is likely to be “busy” in January, and is understood to be considering launching a huge bid for the Gabon international.

The Frenchman sees this term as a great chance for his side to win the Premier League title for the first time since 2004, and is keen to provide more competition for Olivier Giroud, although he could face competition from London rivals, Chelsea.

Aubameyang has been in outstanding form for Dortmund, scoring 24 goals in 23 appearances this season, and is said to be keen to make the move to England.
