Arsenal and Tottenham are reportedly set to go head-to-head in their attempts to land France forward Wissam Ben Yedder this summer, according to Canal+ (via Talksport).

The Premier League duo, who finished second and third in the English top-flight standings last term, have been linked with a move for the highly-rated Toulouse striker ahead of the new 2016/17 campaign.

The 25-year-old, who is a former France Under-21 international, scored an impressive 23 goals and provided five assists in 41 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 outfit last season.

Ben Yedder, who is of Tunisian descent, has been strongly linked with ending his six-year stay with Toulouse following his star performances last term.

The report suggests that the North London duo are keen on luring the Frenchman to the Emirates Stadium and White Hart Lane respectively, whilst fellow Premier League rivals West Ham United are understood to be monitoring the forward’s situation.
