Arsenal will miss out on Champions League football for the first time under Arsene Wenger despite winning on the last day of the Premier League season.

The Gunners went into the final round of fixtures fifth in the division and in need of some help from either Watford or Middlesbrough, who faced Manchester City and Liverpool respectively, to clinch a 21st successive top four finish under the Frenchman.

And although his side kept up their side of the bargain, beating Everton 3-1, the others didn’t, with City running out 5-0 winners at Vicarage Road, and Jurgen Klopp’s Reds easing past Boro 3-0 at Anfield.

And it means that the Gunners will be playing in the Europa League next season, and that may also harm their chances of acquiring some of the world’s best talent in the summer transfer window.

Thus, they may need to look at some of their rivals when they consider their targets, and one club they could look to raid is Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United, who finished a place below Wenger’s men in sixth.

So, here are TWO United stars Arsenal must try and land this summer…
