Arsenal weigh up double summer raid for Getafe’s prized duo

Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a double raid for La Liga stars Pablo Sarabia and Alvaro Vazquez this summer, according to Don Balon (via the Metro).

The Premier League giants, who welcome Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon, are thought to be interested in signing the Getafe duo once the current 2015-16 campaign draws to a close.

Attacking midfielder Sarabia; 23, who is a former Spain Under-21 international, has scored five goals and provided five assists in 26 appearances in all competitions for the Spanish top-flight club this term.

Meanwhile centre forward Vazquez; 24, who is a former Spain Under-23 international, has also scored five goals in 29 appearances in all competitions for the La Liga outfit so far this season, including three assists.

The latter Spaniard was in fact on loan at fellow Premier League side Swansea City during the 2013-14 season, but he failed to score in 20 appearances for the Welsh outfit.
