Aston Villa are reportedly ready to allow out-of-favour club captain Gabriel Agbonlahor leave the club next month for as little as £3m.

The Premier League outfit, who remain rock-bottom in the standings following Boxing Day’s 1-1 draw with Newcastle United, are looking to offload the misfiring striker during January’s transfer window.

The 29-year-old, who came through the Midlands clubs’ youth ranks and signed his first professional deal back in 2005, has failed to score in all ten appearances in all competitions for Villa so far this season.

Completely out-of-favour under new manager Remi Garde at Villa Park this term, Agbonlahor is reportedly drawing interest from three clubs in the United Arab Emirates – Al Ahli, Al Wasl and Emirates.
