Barcelona plot shock swoop for Premier League star

Barcelona are plotting a surprise move for Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez, according to reports in Spain.

The 24-year-old has made a brilliant start to the Premier League campaign, scoring four times in the opening four matches.

His electrifying form has attracted interest from Arsenal but it is now thought that the Spanish giants are tracking the Algeria international.

After losing Pedro in the summer Luis Enrique is determined to bring in another wide forward to provide back-up to Neymar and Lionel Messi.

Mahrez, who cost the Foxes just £350,000 from Le Harve in January 2014, has scored 11 times in 55 appearances for the Midlands side.
