Spanish giants Barcelona are considering a move for Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp as a summer replacement for current boss, Luis Enrique, according to reports in The Mirror.

The report claims that, in the wake of the Catalan club’s 4-0 Champions League hammering at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday, faith in Enrique is wearing thin, with the club looking for change this summer.

However, the former Borussia Dortmund manager, who is supposedly held in high esteem at the Nou Camp for his work done with the German club, is not the only Premier League boss on the list, with reports suggesting that both former Barca defender and now Everton manager Ronald Koeman and ex-Espanyol man Mauricio Pochettino have been shortlisted.

Although Liverpool have had a poor time of things recently, Klopp has received huge praise for the job he has done at Anfield since taking over from Brendan Rodgers. However, should he leave for Barcelona this summer, there may be a sense that he has not finished what he had built on Merseyside.
