Arsenal are reportedly at risk of losing Chile international star Alexis Sanchez to Bayern Munich this summer, according to El Mercurio.

The Premier League side, who face league champions Chelsea in the 2017 Emirates FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, finished fifth in the top-flight on Sunday – missing out on qualification for the UEFA Champions League for the first time in 20 years – meaning some star players could seek pastures new ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.

The 28-year-old, who has 108 international caps for his country, has scored 29 goals and provided 19 assists in 50 appearances in all competitions for The Gunners this season.

Sanchez, who arrived at the Emirates Stadium back in July 2014 following his transfer from La Liga giants FC Barcelona, has netted 71 times in 143 games overall for The Gunners, winning the FA Cup and two FA Community Shields.

However, the report suggests Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are favourites to land the Chilean forward this summer, with the club willing to splash out £50m for his services, with the player’s agent already jetting off to Germany for alleged negotiations.
