Bournemouth are reportedly keen on bringing in Crystal Palace midfielder Adlene Guedioura before the close of the transfer window.

The newly promoted Premier League side are desperate to bolster their squad before September 1, with Cherries boss Eddie Howe expected to make a move for the out-of-favour Eagles man.

The 29-year-old, who has 30 international caps for Algeria, made just 10 appearances in all competitions for Palace last season, before also enjoying a brief loan spell at fellow top-flight newcomers Watford.

After failing to feature for Alan Pardew’s side so far this season, Guedioura is deemed surplus to requirements at Selhurst Park and is widely tipped to leave the club before the close of the transfer window.
