Manchester City face 10-time Champions League winners Real Madrid in their first semi-final in the competition at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side beat Stoke City 4-0 at the weekend, with forward Sergio Aguero adding another strike following his 100th Premier League goal earlier in the week.

The Argentine has scored only twice in Europe this season, though, and will be under pressure to deliver on the big stage, having missed a penalty against Paris Saint-Germain in the previous round.

By contrast, Madrid boast the Champions League’s all-time record goal-scorer in Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 31-year-old has fired 93 goals on his way to twice winning the competition, and has an incredible 16 in 10 games so far this term.
