Chelsea are closing in on a deal to bring Paris Saint Germain defender, David Luiz, back to the club having agreed a fee as manager Antonio Conte looks to bolster his ranks before the deadline, according to the Daily Mail.

According to The Telegraph’s ‘Deadline Day live‘ feed (14.02), the a move for the former the 29-year-old was sanctioned by the former Juventus boss on Deadline Day, and now the two clubs have reportedly agreed a £32m fee.

The Brazilian international, who won the Champions League with the Blues in 2012, left Stamford Bridge in two years later for a fee of around £50m.

The Italian manager has been chasing a defender all summer and has seemingly failed in his pursuits of Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly and AC Milan’s Alessio Romagnoli.

As well as the European title, the defender picked up winners medals for both the FA Cup and Europa League during his time at the club.
