Chelsea consider improved offer for PSG star

Chelsea are reportedly weighing up an improved offer for Paris Saint-Germain youngster Marquinhos.

The defending Premier League champions, who have pocketed only eight points from their opening eight league games this term so far, were understood to have a £33.1m bid rejected for the Brazil international during the summer.

The 21-year-old, who has six international caps to his name, has featured six times for the Ligue 1 champions this season, helping keep four clean sheets.

Despite their failure to land the highly-rated centre-half a few months ago; Blues boss Jose Mourinho is now reportedly ready to launch an improved offer for Marquinhos during the January transfer window.
