Alexis Sanchez’s future at Arsenal has been subject to debate for much of the last few months, and now Premier League leaders Chelsea have reportedly entered the race for the 28-year-old.

The Chilean international has scored 18 goals and laid on nine assists in 27 Premier League games for the Gunners this term, taking his overall league record to 47 goals and 21 assists in just 92 appearances for Arsene Wenger’s side.

However, Sanchez’s contract expires at the end of next season, and with the forward yet to agree a new deal at the Emirates, alongside the scrutiny surrounding Wenger’s own future, several top sides may look to exploit the current uncertainty around the club to land a deal for Sanchez in the summer.

And one of those sides look set to be Antonio Conte’s Chelsea, who have today identified the 28-year-old as their number one transfer target for the upcoming window.

With a sensational record in English football, several Blues fans are revelling in the prospect of Sanchez making the move across London to Stamford Bridge, and indeed linking up with Eden Hazard, with the two of them having already netted 99 goals between them in their Premier League careers…
