Chelsea will aim to continue their 100% Premier League record under the management of Antonio Conte when Burnley visit Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

Back-to-back wins in the top-flight, as well as Tuesday’s EFL Cup win on home soil over Bristol Rovers, has made it the perfect start for the Italian, as the West Londoners’ look to erase the 10th place finish of last term from their memory.

The opening victory over West Ham United on home soil was followed up by three-points at Vicarage Road against Watford last Saturday.

Etienne Capoue’s half-volley after 55 minutes for the hosts was subsequently cancelled out by Michy Batshuayi’s equaliser for Conte’s men ten minutes from time, prior to Diego Costa earning a late winner for the Blues in Hertfordshire, a result which maintained their winning record.

Currently residing in fourth position within the top-flight standings, Chelsea target a third league win in a row against the Clarets, who visit the capital after beating Liverpool 2-0 at Turf Moor on Saturday.

And after securing their first three-points of the campaign against Jurgen Klopp’s side, courtesy of goals from Sam Vokes and Andre Gray, Sean Dyche’s east Lancastrian outfit will be keen to spring another surprise, this time against Chelsea.

Despite the Liverpool triumph, Burnley were on the wrong end of an EFL Cup upset on Wednesday, when Matty Pearson’s extra-time strike proved the difference for Accrington Stanley at the Crown Ground.

Ahead of their trip to Stamford Bridge, Burnley will take heart from their last Premier League visit to play Chelsea, after Ben Mee’s late header cancelled out Branislav Ivanovic’s first-half opener, in a 1-1 draw in February 2015.

Team News:

Chelsea’s only current injury issue is a calf strain for Willian, which has kept the Brazilian midfielder out for the past two fixtures.

N’Golo Kante is set to be recalled, while John Terry and Oscar, who came on as substitutes against Bristol Rovers, could both be in line for starting roles.

As for newly-promoted Burnley, their only likely absentee will be striker Ashley Barnes, who remains out with a hamstring injury.

Having made ten changes for the EFL Cup defeat away at neighbours Accrington Stanley, 45-year-old Dyche will revert back to his senior squad for the Chelsea encounter, and will welcome back the likes of Tom Heaton and Gray to the starting XI at Stamford Bridge.
