Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford has reportedly emerged as a potential loan target for five clubs this summer, according to the Daily Mail.

The Premier League side, who host West Ham United at Stamford Bridge on August 15 (Monday night) in their 2016/17 English top-flight campaign opener, could be tempted in loaning out the former England Under-21 international forward once more following their £33m capture of Belgium’s Michy Batshuayi from Ligue 1 outfit Marseille earlier this transfer window.

The 22-year-old, who started his career with Championship club Nottingham Forest, has failed to make his first-team debut for the Blues since his £1.5m switch from the City Ground back in January 2012.

Bamford; who has already enjoyed loan spells at Milton Keynes Dons, Derby County, Middlesbrough, Crystal Palace and Norwich City (last term) throughout his Chelsea spell, is wanted by Scottish Premiership champions Celtic, as well as Championship quartet Aston Villa, Fulham, Queens Park Rangers and Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to the report.

He failed to score in seven league appearances for recently relegated Norwich during the previous 2015/16 campaign.

Would love to see him at Wolves, but sadly Kenny Jackett will mis-manage him if he comes here.

Does the fact that many clubs want him have no impact on our management? We really should play him and Remy.
Chelsea continuously do not make use of its assets. We did not use Lukaku and sold him. Now we want to buy him back. And Shurlle, De Bryne, Sturridge….. clear errors. We should bring back Tomas Kallas, Andreas Christiansen, Mousonda and play them. They are all excellent players.
They are all to the standard of RLC … these guys were all involved in the Chelsea youth teams that won cups every year. Every club they play for, want buy and keep them. Surely they have proven themselves.
We have 37 players out on loan. Why not have 30 out on loan, play about seven of them, get rid of some of the non performing prima donnas in our first team and save ourselves hundreds of millions.
We have been overlooking some of our really talented players.
