Antonio Conte may have lifted the Premier League title in his first season in England, as well as setting up a League and Cup double with the FA Cup Final against Arsenal just over a week away, but there is no slowing down over the summer in west London.

According to reports from the Daily Telegraph, the former Juventus boss has been handed £200m to play with this summer and will set aside around a quarter of that budget to land a deal for Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, in a deal which could cost more than £45m

The 22-year-old, who played a key role in the French side lifting the Ligue 1 title for the first time in 17 years this season, operated solely as a defensive midfielder under Leonardo Jardim all season, meaning Conte could be planning to push PFA Player of the Year N’Golo Kante further forward next season.

Furthermore, the Italian will need to add quality in all areas as he prepares his side for a return to Europe’s top table, the Champions League, having had no European football to speak of in his first campaign.
