West Brom will have to shell out £35m to sign Troy Deeney.

According to a report in the Daily Mail Watford have put that price on their striking talisman.

Deeney fell out of favour with Walter Mazzarri towards the end of last season but with a new head coach coming in it looks like the 28-year-old is about to start his eighth season at Vicarage Road.

Tony Pulis is desperately looking for added firepower after West Brom’s season fell off a cliff after effectively securing their top flight place early in the new year.

Top scorer Salomon Rondon was the top scorer with eight goals with Deeney regularly notching double that amount.

A fee of £35m is likely to be outwith the budget that Pulis has for a striker with the West Brom boss watching a number of continental targets towards the end of the season in a quest to land the striker capable of hitting 15 Premier League goals per season.
