Everton finished their Premier League season with a 3-1 defeat at Arsenal but will still be satisfied with an improved campaign under manager Ronald Koeman.

The Dutchman took over from the sacked Roberto Martinez in the summer with the brief to improve upon their 11th place finish in the top-flight last term, and former Southampton boss Koeman has done just that by leading the side to seventh in the table.

The Toffees won 17 of their 38 league games and finished 15 points clear of eighth place Southampton, although did trail sixth place Manchester United by eight points.

And that’s certainly a gap they’ll look to eat into next season, although it seems clear that they’ll need some serious reinforcements this summer to be able to sustain a challenge to the top six.

Yet they could look to do that by raiding some of their rivals for the top six positions this summer to acquire the talent needed, and one club they could look at is Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United.

Thus, here are TWO United stars Everton must try and land this summer…
