On-loan Bournemouth midfielder, Jack Wilshere, has no future at his parent club Arsenal, according to former Liverpool and England man Jamie Redknapp.

Speaking in his role as a pundit for Sky Sports, the ex-Spurs man said:

“I don’t see a future at Arsenal any more, I think now he will realise he has got to get away from Arsenal,

“It’s too comfortable for him there. He is not going to get into the team at Arsenal regularly.”

Redknapp feels that Wilshere, who played a full 90 minutes of football for the first time since a 2-1 League Cup defeat to Redknapp’s old club Southampton in September 2014, needs to make a permanent move to show exactly what he can do.

“If he makes that move he can show what he is all about. No disrespect, I think he’s a step above Bournemouth, but I think it’s a great thing for him to do. He’s really putting himself out there.”

Despite having left the club this summer, the 24-year-old remains a fan favourite at The Emirates, and many will be sad to see him go, however, it is hard to see him breaking back into a the side should the likes of Mesut Ozil, Fancis Coquelin and Granit Xhaka continue to impress.
