Fulham are reportedly hopeful of signing former Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard on loan, according to The Times.

The Championship club, who lie just four points above the relegation zone, want to bring in the out-of-favour West Brom shot stopper to help the Cottagers stave off relegation this term.

The 31-year-old, who has five international caps for Denmark, has made just one League Cup appearance all season for the Baggies so far.

Lindegaard, who joined Tony Pulis’ West Brom in the summer on a free transfer from Old Trafford, is currently behind Boaz Myhill and Ben Foster in the pecking order at The Hawthorns this campaign.
