Two teams who have high hopes of making the top-six in the Championship this season come up against each other when Blackburn Rovers host Sheffield Wednesday at Ewood Park on Saturday.

Former Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert took over the reigns at Rovers just under a fortnight ago, and led his side to a 2-1 victory at Preston in his first game in charge last weekend.

Scoring the winning goal at Deepdale was Jordan Rhodes, who once again looks to be the Lancashire outfit’s main hope of breaking into the play-offs.

The Scotland international, who has been linked with a move to Hillsborough in the past, has scored more than 20 goals in the previous three seasons, and looks well on course to achieve the feat for a fourth successive campaign.

Meanwhile, the Owls, led by Carlos Carvalhal, have been in impressive form themselves, losing just one of their last 11 in England’s second-tier.

One of Wednesday’s stand out players this term has been their summer signing from Nacional, Lucas Joao, who has impressed with some dynamic performances up front.

Here’s how the two strikers match-up ahead of Saturday’s big game….
