It seems rather evident that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is far from happy with his current defensive options. The former Chelsea boss has berated his back line all season long and could well add players this summer.

With that in mind, the Portuguese would do well to have looked at an interview in Bild with young Hertha Berlin defender Jordan Torunarigha.

The 19-year-old, who has broken into the Bundesliga outfit’s first team setup this season has been impressing in Germany, having already represented the country at every level to U20, and seems to have a keen interest in Old Trafford.

Asked what his one dream outside of Hertha would be, the centre-half replied:

“Manchester United, it has always been my dream to play at Old Trafford,

“Maybe somehow with Hertha,” he added.

Mourinho could well be on the lookout for some added depth in Toriunarigha’s position this summer, with Marcos Rojo lumbered by injury and question marks over the futures of all but Eric Bailly.
