Combined Home Nations Squad

With the forthcoming final 2016 UEFA European Championship qualifiers on the horizon; with England already through, Wales on the brink of qualification, Northern Ireland in pole position and Scotland hopeful over the play-offs, Shoot decided to combine the four countries and create a Home Nations squad.

Our selection has been based upon a blend of fitness and form at both club and international level.

Just as much as he is undoubtedly England’s number one goalkeeper, he would also be the Home Nations’ dream team’s first pick between the sticks. The Manchester City ace, who has 54 international caps, is the Premier League’s leading ‘keeper when it comes to clean sheets this season – gaining five from just seven games.
