“If you get a decent transfer budget!” Newcastle United fans react to Rafa Benitez’s ‘bright future’

Newcastle United are enjoying a successful season under Rafa Benitez as the club sit top of the Championship table, seven points clear of the play-off places, but there’s still room for improvement, especially their recent form, which has seen them take just two points from three games.

But with the international break currently taking place, the manager has time to look at how to move the club forward and a recent interview gives some insight into his thoughts.

It was something of a surprise when Champions League winning and former Real Madrid boss Benitez decided to stay at St James’ Park and ply his trade in the Championship, but so far that decision seems fully vindicated as the club chase promotion back to the top-flight, the real question is are they in a position to stay up if they do achieve promotion?

Fortunately for Newcastle supporters, Benitez feels the club has a bright future and fans have been giving their reaction to whether he’s right…
