Leeds United are reportedly aiming to resurrect a loan deal for Sunderland midfielder Liam Bridcutt.

The Whites came close to signing the 26-year-old earlier this month before a move collapsed late on.

But with the window shutting at 5pm on Thursday, Steve Evans is keen to add the Scotland international to his squad.

However, fellow Championship sides Cardiff and Reading are also thought to be interested in the ex-Brighton star, who has struggled for game time at the Stadium of Light this term.
