Leicester City reportedly value Algeria international superstar Riyad Mahrez at £45m this summer transfer window, according to The Telegraph.

The Premier League side, who remarkably lifted the English top-flight title last term after finishing 10 points clear of second-placed Arsenal in the league standings, have slapped a whopping price tag on their star forward in the hope of putting off any potential suitors.

The 25-year-old, who has 24 international caps for his country, scored an impressive 18 goals and provided 10 assists in 39 appearances in all competitions for the Foxes last season.

Mahrez, who arrived at the King Power Stadium back in January 2014 from French outfit Le Havre for a bargain £350,000, is understood to not have a release clause written into his current deal with Claudio Ranieri’s side.

However the report suggests that Leicester are confident of keeping the PFA Player of the Year ahead of the forthcoming campaign, despite fellow Foxes teammate N’Golo Kante sealing a £32m switch to Premier League rivals Chelsea last week.
