Leicester on the verge of £3m defender deal

Leicester City are reportedly close to sealing the £3m signing of Japan international Yuto Nagatomo.

The Premier League side are understood to have agreed a deal with Serie A giants Inter Milan for the left sided full-back, who is now due in England to undergo a medical.

The 28-year-old, who has 81 international caps to his name, made just 18 appearances in all competitions for the Italian outfit last season under former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini.

Nagatomo, who arrived at the San Siro from FC Tokyo back in 2011, is fully expected to join fellow countryman Shinji Okazaki at the King Power Stadium this summer.
