Liverpool have reportedly emerged as favourites to sign Brazil international midfielder Rafinha this summer, according to Mundo Deportivo (via TEAMtalk).

The Premier League side, who hammered West Ham United 4-0 on Sunday at the London Stadium to move back up to third spot in the English top-flight standings, have been linked with a move for the out-of-favour FC Barcelona midfielder ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.

The 24-year-old, who has two international caps for his country, has scored seven goals and provided five assists in 28 appearances in all competitions for the La Liga giants so far this season.

Central midfielder Rafinha, who came through the Nou Camp youth academy after joining Barca at the age of 13, has netted 11 goals in 78 first-team appearances for the club, lifting two league titles and the UEFA Champions League, among other honours.

However, the report suggests The Reds have made an enquiry about the Brazilian’s future this summer, who could be available for €30m.

Premier League rivals Arsenal are also said to be interested in the Samba star’s services, as well as Serie A champions Juventus.
