Liverpool have been reportedly told they can snap up January transfer target Mario Suarez for a bargain £6m this month.

The Premier League side, who drew 2-2 with League Two Exeter City in the FA Cup on Friday night, have been scouting the Fiorentina midfielder up until the New Year transfer market.

The 28-year-old, who has three international caps for Spain, has scored one goal in just eight league appearances for the Serie A outfit so far this season.

The Italian club are understood to be keen to offload the midfielder this month having failed to impress since his summer switch from La Liga giants Atletico Madrid.

So Fiorentina think we are the dumping ground for failed midfielder players and strikers.

Hang on it would appear we are.
