Liverpool are reportedly eyeing a summer raid on Netherlands international forward Anwar El Ghazi, according to Football Insider.

The Premier League side, who are currently in action against La Liga opponents Villarreal at Anfield in their UEFA Europa League semi-final second-leg clash, have been linked with a move for the highly-rated Ajax winger once the current 2015/16 campaign concludes.

The 20-year-old, who has two international caps for his country after making his senior debut against Kazakhstan back in October 2015, has scored 11 goals and provided three assists in 36 appearances in all competitions for the Eredivisie outfit so far this season.

El Ghazi, who left Sparta Rotterdam back in 2013, is under contract with Ajax until 2019.

Therefore the report suggests that Jurgen Klopp’s Reds would have to negotiate a deal in the region of £12m to tempt the club into selling their prized asset this summer.

Furthermore, it suggests that Liverpool’s pursuit of El Ghazi could spell the end of Jordon Ibe’s career at the top-flight club.
