Last summer Manchester United broke the world record transfer fee to bring back Paul Pogba after letting him leave the club just years before, and it looks like another Premier League club will be doing the same this summer at the expense of Jose Mourinho’s side.

Champions Chelsea, as well as their former manager Mourinho, have been linked with a move for Everton striker Romelu Lukaku this summer.

The Belgian international, who was on course for the Premier League Golden Boot until Tottenham star Harry Kane bagged seven goals in his last two games, has been valued at a record-breaking £100m my the Merseysiders.

However, according to reports from The Sun, both clubs are prepared to meet the valuation, which leaves the decision down to the striker.

The report goes on to claim that the 24-year-old is set to snub a move to Old Trafford in favour of a return to the capital and Stamford Bridge where he failed to make the grade last time around.
