Man City launch £40.7m offer for Germany’s 19-year-old starlet

Manchester City have reportedly launched a whopping £40.7m bid for Germany starlet Leroy Sane.

The Premier League giants, who defeated Watford 2-1 at the weekend, have been scouting the Schalke winger during the build-up to the January transfer window.

The 19-year-old, who made his international debut for the 2014 World Cup winners against France back in November, scored five and assisted five goals in 24 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit this season.

Sane, who signed a new three-year-deal with Schalke back in March 2015, is also said to be attracting interest from English top-flight rivals Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham this month.
