Premier League giants Man United, Arsenal, Man City and Chelsea are all monitoring the situation of Atalanta midfielder Franck Kessie ahead of a January move, according to reports from talkSport.

The 19-year-old almost joined Sunderland over the summer but a deal failed to materialise due to work permit issues. However, they are reportedly no long a problem which has led the Premier League quartet to take an interest.

The Ivory Coast international operates as a defensive midfielder, although he has already proved he has more to offer, scoring five goals and setting up a further two in nine outings so far this season.

However, should one of the former champions of England want to land their man, they will have to fight of reported interest from Serie A giants Inter Milan and Juventus, who offer the added security of staying in Italy as well as a big pay rise.

Such is the interest in their youngster, Atalanta have supposedly resigned to the fact that they will be losing Kessie in the January window.
