Manchester United visit Burnley in the Premier League this afternoon (2.15pm kick-off) hoping to pile the pressure on the top four.

Jose Mourinho’s side reached the semi-finals of the Europa League in the week after edging past Anderlecht 3-2 on aggregate, with England striker Marcus Rashford firing the winner in extra time as the Red Devils booked their place against Celta Vigo in the last four.

However, they return to league action this afternoon against a Burnley team that are particularly strong at home, with 32 of their 36 league points this term accumulated at Turf Moor.

Sean Dyche’s men though are just five points above the bottom three after victories for Swansea and Hull on Saturday, but Mourinho’s United will go into today’s clash as favourites to record a 17th league win of the campaign.

And the announcement of the teams earlier this afternoon has stimulated quite the response on social media, with captain Wayne Rooney returning to the side for his first Premier League start since March 4 in one of three changes to the side that started their last league outing.

And it’s a decision which has been met with overwhelming support on Twitter…

Many Red Devils supporters are also delighted to see Anthony Martial given an opportunity in a more advanced role, what with Zlatan Ibrahimovic out injured and Marcus Rashford benched…

And some were thrilled to see Mourinho rotating the squad ahead of a huge Manchester derby on Thursday at the Etihad Stadium…
