Manchester City are reportedly weighing up whether to send out England international Fabian Delph on loan, according to the Daily Mail.

The Premier League side, who currently sit fourth in the English top-flight standings after their opening 20 league games respectively, are understood to be considering sending the out-of-favour central midfielder out on loan in a bid for him to gain more first-team action and improve his fitness.

The 27-year-old, who has nine international caps for the Three Lions, but has not featured for England since November 2015 (vs Spain), has scored one goal in just four appearances in all competitions for the Citizens so far this season.

Delph, who arrived at the Etihad Stadium back in July 2015 following his reported £8m switch from Aston Villa, signing a five-year contract at City, is said to be attracting interest from several Premier League and Championship outfits about his availability.

The report suggests that West Brom are among those listed, although manager Tony Pulis is still pursuing Manchester United ace Morgan Schneiderlin.
