Manchester City target Julian Weigl joins PUMA

PUMA is proud to present the latest addition to its all-star team, Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Weigl.

The 21-year-old Germany international, who has scored one goal in 27 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit this season, will wear the new PUMA evoPOWER Vigor 1.

Weigl is going to be a key player for the Global Sports Brand at BVB, next to his teammates Marco Reus, Roman Weidenfeller and Marc Bartra.

The German star said, “I have got to know PUMA very well through their work with BVB.

“I really like their products as well as their marketing campaigns, and I look forward to the exciting campaigns that are in store for me in the next few months.

“It is a great honour to be part of the extensive PUMA family, which also includes legends like Lothar Matthäus, Pelé and Maradona.”

Weigl was linked with Premier League side Manchester City during the previous January transfer window, according to Mundo Deportivo (via Sport Witness).
