Manchester United and Everton are reportedly interested in signing Cyprus international starlet Grigoris Kastanos, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Premier League duo, who currently sit fourth and third in the English top-flight standings after picking up nine and ten points from their opening four league games this term, are keeping a close eye on the young midfielder’s contract situation at Juventus.

The 18-year-old, who already has three international caps for his country, is yet to make his first-team debut for the defending Serie A champions, although he has scored 12 goals in 46 appearances for the club’s Under-19 squad.

The report suggests that Kastanos is in line to earn a new deal with Juve following speculative interest from Everton and Man United, after the talented attacking midfielder was spotted at the Viareggio youth tournament earlier this year.

The Italian giants, who face Sevilla in their Champions League Group H opener tonight (19:45), are determined to hold onto the highly-rated Cypriot, given that they paid just £40,000 for his services from Enosis Neon Paralimni back in 2014.
