Manchester United defender leaves on loan

Young Manchester United defender Donald Love has joined League One outfit Wigan Athletic on loan for two months.

Following an injury to Kevin McNaughton, Latics boss Steven Caldwell has moved to bring the Scotland Under-21 international in to strengthen his side at right-back.

Love has been with the Red Devils since the age of seven, but is yet to make a first-team appearance for the current Premier League leaders.
