Manchester United are reportedly eyeing a shock £60m move for Brazil international Willian this summer, according to The Sun.

The 13-time Premier League champions, who finished fifth in the English top-flight this season after finishing behind arch-rivals Manchester City on goal difference to miss out on UEFA Champions League football later this year, are set to appoint ex-Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho as their new manager following the sacking of Louis van Gaal after their FA Cup triumph.

Therefore, the Blues star has now been linked with a reunion with the ‘Special One’ at Old Trafford this summer.

The 27-year-old, who has 34 international caps for his country, scored 11 goals and provided 10 assists in 49 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea this term.

Willian, who was named the London club’s Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year, originally arrived at Stamford Bridge from Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala for £30m back in August 2013.
