Manchester United have reportedly launched an improved offer of £92m to land France international star Paul Pogba, according to The Guardian.

The Premier League side, who visit AFC Bournemouth during the opening weekend of the new 2016/17 English top-flight campaign on August 14, have been continually linked with a move to lure the Juventus midfielder back to Old Trafford.

The 23-year-old, who has 38 international caps for his country and helped France reach the EURO 2016 final this summer in his homeland before losing out to Portugal, scored 10 goals and provided 16 assists in 49 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A champions last season.

However Pogba, who left Old Trafford back in 2012 after rejecting a new deal, is also understood to be attracting interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid as well.

The report suggests that the Red Devils have launched an increased bid of £92m (€110m), plus a further €10m in add-ons, to sign the Frenchman in a new world record transfer.

But Italian giants Juve are still pushing for a further €10m and have warned United that their €95m signing of Gonzalo Higuaín will not force the club into selling Pogba.
