It’s not only Antoine Griezmann who Manchester United are targeting this summer, as they are also considering a mega money move for Torino striker Andrea Belotti, reports IBT (via Manchester Evening News).

The 23-year-old has been one of the most lethal strikers in European football this season, netting 25 goals in just 34 Serie A appearances thus far, and with just one game to go against Sassuolo this evening to try and usurp Roma’s Edin Dzeko at the top of goal-scoring charts (he’s on 28).

And although the Italy international has gone four games without a goal, his form this term has been exceptional, and with Torino not going to finish any higher than ninth in the Italian top-flight, there is bound to be intense interest in Belotti this summer form some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

And one of those, Jose Mourinho’s United, are already considering a move for the 23-year-old this summer, with the Red Devils reportedly to partner Atletico’s Griezmann with the £25.5 million-rated forward (as per Transfermarkt) next season, as they look to sustain a challenge on both domestic and European fronts.

United laboured to a sixth place finish in the Premier League this season, and although they won the League Cup and Europa League, that league form will quite simply have to improve next term under the Portuguese boss.

And it looks like they are going to try and improve their chances by spending big this summer, although it’s not just United who are in the running for Belotti, as The Sun report that Premier League champions Chelsea and FA Cup winners Arsenal are also interested in a move for the striker.

Nonetheless, he will reportedly set the English trio back £85 million as per his release clause, but when you consider the amount of goals he has scored this term and the fact he is only 23, it’s a fee which is unlikely to put any side off this summer.
