Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho will be deep in the plans for his side’s season defining Europa League final against Ajax on Wednesday night, however, should he care to take a look at the transfer mill, there is good news.

Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, who has been mooted as a top target for the former Real Madrd and Inter Milan boss this summer, has ruled out a move to French giants Paris Saint-Germain.

“I can’t quit Monaco to go to PSG, it’s impossible,” the recently crowned Ligue 1 champion told Canal Football Club.

“I have a contract with Monaco today.

“I know that some clubs are interested. I’ve spoken to those close to me, and we established that our objective is to win titles.

“It’s done, we’re going to discuss it in the coming days.”

The 22-year-old, who played a key role in helping Leonardo Jardim’s side lift the league title and reach the semi-finals of the Champions League this season, had been linked with a move to the French capital but it seems he is far from keen.

While Mourinho is keen to get a deal for the industrious midfielder done, his former club and Premier League champions Chelsea are also reportedly prepared to battle over his signature.
