Brazil and Barcelona star, Neymar, has ended all hope of a move to the Premier League in the coming seasons by putting pen to paper on a new deal at the Nou Camp, the club have confirmed.

The winger, a key part of the infamous MSN trio – alongside Lionel Messi and former Liverpool man Luis Suarez – was reportedly a target of both Man United and Man City over the summer, as well as Barca’s La Liga rivals Real Madrid and French champions, Paris Saint Germain.

The latter pair were supposedly prepared to pay the whopping £170m release clause included in his then deal at the Catalan club, a clause which has now risen.

According to BBC Sport the Brazil international’s new five-year-deal includes a new release clause of £178m, which will subsequently rise to £200m after a year and then £222m for the final three years of his deal.

The 24-year-old has bagged a phenomenal 91 goals in 150 appearances for the Catalan club, picking up a Champions League winners medal and two league titles along the way.
