Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that world-record signing Paul Pogba will return to action when Crystal Palace visit Old Trafford on Sunday.

The former Chelsea boss, whose side drew 0-0 with Southampton on Wednesday night, stated that he will make wholesale changes to his side for the final game of the season as he prepares for the Europa League final against Ajax next Wednesday.

Speaking after the goalless draw at St. Mary’s, the Portuguese said of the France international, who has been absent recently because of the death of his father;

“[Paul] Pogba will come [to play on Sunday] because Pogba is not training or playing since his dad passed away.”

Mourinho also asked the reporters assembled “don’t kill me when you see my team,” which will only feature a few regular first team players to keep some “structure.”

Whilst Mourinho does need to keep players fresh for the final in Stockholm, a win against Sam Allardyce’s now-safe side will be a huge boost given the Red Devils are now without a League victory in five successive games.
